SATURDAY 07/03 - Bal Rat Mort

• For the 122st edition, Bal Rat Mort chose the theme of ‘Ensor - Bal Masqué'.

FRIDAY 06/03 - Carnaval Weekend

• According to annual tradition, the appointment of the Carnival Prince and Princess takes place at City Hall on Friday evening at 7 pm. This inaugural event is followed by the "Cimateire" procession (lantern procession) at 8 pm.

SATURDAY 07/03 - Kindercarnaval

• Saturday is the carnival day for children. They have their own parade, after which a miniature doll of Tjannie Carbon is set on fire. There is also a mini-version of the traditional clog throwing. Wapenplein is the place to be for every child that loves carnival.

SUNDAY 08/03

• On Sunday, at 3 pm, the big carnival parade goes through the city and ends at Wapenplein, where everyone gathers for the traditional throwing of clogs.
